Oppo ColorOS 12 based on Android 12 will be presented tomorrow

Chinese phone manufacturer Oppo will soon release ColorOS 12, a new version of its proprietary smartphone skin based on the Android 12 operating system.

A confirmation has appeared on Oppo‘s official Weibo page today that details of the ColorOS 12 firmware will be released tomorrow. A teaser was also posted with a clock that shows 12 o’clock.

According to the available information, ColorOS 12 will support “inter-screen connection” function, loading Windows plugins, instant connection, transferring files between devices, clipboard sharing, syncing screenshots and messages. Other features will also be added over time.

According to a post from Digital Chat Station, the upcoming ColorOS 12 shell has significant changes in UI design at the system level – it will take the HydrogenOS as a basis, and will also use the visual elements of Flyme and MIUI.

Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately report the specifications and release dates of the Redmi K30, K40, Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11.

As a reminder here is a list (not official) of eligible devices that will get the new user interface, alongside the launch date.
